The Cambridge Student newspaper is looking to recruit a team of web designers to create a new website over the summer. We especially welcome applications from people who may not have a typical STEM profile.
By working with our team of creatives, we are hoping to design a dynamic and functional website, with both a front-and-back-end upgrade from our current form. The back-end section should allow editors to put articles online easily.
The website should run smoothly, be easy to use, and serve both the readership and writers. It should be visually stunning (graphic design experience is not necessary, however), but also primarily serve TCS’ aim of high-quality, easily accessible journalism.
There should be clear access to the analytics of the website for the Editor-in-Chief, and links to our social media should be effortless.
If you’re looking for a summer project and are interested in gaining significant web design experience, this is the task for you! Potential rewards include vouchers for Cambridge shops and restaurants.
Please send applications to email@example.com.
